When a new product idea is born, P3 Global nurtures it, cares for it, and brings it to life. Established in 2009, our core mission is to design, develop, and distribute exciting new consumer products that unlock value for our distributors, retailers, e-partners, and end consumers. Our products can be found in select locations of large mass retailers, as well as in on-line retail, convenience, and other non-traditional channels.

In our formative years, we predominately acted as product marketing consultants, helping early stage companies gain access to new distribution channels.  Our team successfully gained new distribution into accounts such as Costco, Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, Target, Home Depot, and Lowe’s Home Improvement Stores, to name a few.  In 2011, we began venturing into the second and third-tier U.S. sales channels, as well as online retail, with a full transition to solely developing our own products in 2013.

 

Our team is comprised of Thoughtful Technicians, Product Pioneers, Constant Innovators, Serving Sales Folks, and Genuine Operators. We care about our processes and consistently look for ways to improve our inner workings.

Our strong overseas office staff, affiliate partners, and supply chain team members make global commerce seem like local commerce. Our product sourcing and logistics team leads are best-in-class in the creation and distribution of our products around the world.

Vimal M Prajapati

President & CEO

Vimal brings a wealth of entrepreneurial experience, passion, and marketing insight to his strategic leadership role at P3.  He has enjoyed the pleasure of working with the world’s top retailers and manufacturers to drive innovation, improve sales and profitability, and elevate customer experiences.

After graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, summa cum laude, Vimal spent four years as a Wealth Management Advisor for A.G. Edwards & Sons.  He developed financial strategy for executive teams at small to medium-sized businesses, receiving a unique opportunity to work alongside entrepreneurs in a world of free-thinking & collaboration.  After gaining exposure to new product/business development as he watched start-ups conquer consumer challenges with a mighty force of creativity, Vimal was inspired and founded P3 Global in 2009.

Vimal has deep involvement with small business peers in a number of organizations, which aids in the direction of P3.  Highlights include:

  • President of a Chicago area Chamber of Commerce
  • Founder of the Young Professionals Network in a second Chamber
  • Collaboration with the Illinois World Trade Center
  • Founding Member and Board Member of True Mentors
  • Executive Board Member of Ensemble Español
  • Active in community fundraising

Vimal is proud to be a recent graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program—a rigorous and prestigious business development program–  and honored to be involved with numerous small business advisory boards.  He resides in Chicago with his wife, daughter, and son.

Dhruv Patel

Partner

Leveraging his strong technical and analytical skills, Dhruv lends his expertise to P3’s R&D initiatives, primarily focused on the firm’s sourcing efforts with our overseas offices & manufacturers.  His gifted background also plays a key role in the construction of the  firm’s sophisticated back-office, technology, and information systems.

Dhruv developed his intense passion for creativity while attending Illinois State University.  Establishing his entrepreneurial spirit at an early age, he successfully launched several initiatives in the fields of illumination technology, eCommerce database design, and cellular component manufacturing.

Dhruv’s current drive centers around leading tech trends:

  • Personalization technology, including 3D printing and laser engraved manufacturing
  • Advanced machine learning and drone technology
  • Internet of Things (IoT) platforms

When not residing in Chicago, Dhruv enjoys world travel, immersing himself into other cultures on his journeys.

Hemal Prajapati

Partner

Drawing on two decades of extensive retail managerial experience, Hemal leads P3’s operations and distribution center. Prior to P3, Hemal led multiple departments for Dollar Tree and Safeway in various senior roles.  His responsibilities centered around store operations:  Executing brand strategy and positioning, launching categories, working with vendors to launch and build their presence within the stores, and ultimately driving customer experience and supply chain for consumer goods.

A retail and consumer products veteran, Hemal enjoyed a consistent track record of strong year-over-year growth in all areas of store operations, with a heavy focus towards  P&L, forecasting, and inventory management functions.  He brings this laser focus towards P3’s initiatives.

In addition to retail, Hemal was also involved in a partnership that operated a network of several successful restaurant franchises around Illinois.  He sold his partnership in 2013, and looks forward to the successful launches of P3’s diverse portfolio of projects.

Currently, Hemal resides with his wife, son, and daughter in Chicago.
